Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Monday recorded a slight fall in daily Covid cases across different districts of the State in the last 24 hours.
According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 245 new positives were reported in 18 districts and the State Pool. A total of 346 persons were infected with the virus on Sunday.
There are 41 children in the 0-18 age group. Out of the total 245 cases, 143 are quarantine cases while the rest 102 are local contacts. Currently, there are 1490 active cases in the State.
Khordha alone reports 135 Covid positives today followed by Cuttack, State Pool, Sundergarh, and Mayurbhanj with 38, 28, 9, and 7 positives respectively. Likewise, Jajpur, Jharsuguda recorded four positives each, Sambalpur with 3 positives. Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Puri recorded two Covid cases each.
Similarly,Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Puri with two covid positives each while Balangir, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Rayagada, and Sonepur recorded one positive case each.
