Odisha Panchayat Polls: Ganjam SP conducts flag march in villages to encourage peaceful election

Berhampur: The Ganjam SP Brijesh Rai conducted flag marches in many villages of the district to encourage people for peaceful elections.

In view of the law and order situation, the SP inspected various police stations in the district. Ahead of the three-tier panchayat elections in Belaguntha block, the SP along with the teams conducted flag marches in Pailipada Panchayats under Gangpur police limits.

The Belaguntha blocks have 29 sensitive and highly sensitive booths. He appealed the public and supporters of various political parties not to create any unpleasant situations during the time of elections.

Will take strict action against those who will create chaos in the polling booths which have been identified as sensitive ones.

The SP was accompanied by Addl SP Bijay Kumar Mallik, Bhanjanagar SDPO Subhranshu Sekhar Mishra and police officials of Bhanjanagar, Gangapur and Patpur and police force.
