Odisha Govt increases DA by 2%

Bhubaneswar: As a token of Dusshera gift, the Odisha government on Monday increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) of state government employees and pensioners by two per cent with retrospective effect from July 1, 2018.

With this, the DA will now increase to nine per cent from the previous seven, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today.

Work charge employees and staff and lecturers of fully-aided non-governmental colleges will also be benefited with the hike in the DA.
