Paradeep: A boat was stuck in Paradeep in the middle of the sea. Yesterday a Geo-logical Survey of India’s ship ‘Samudra Kaustuv’ got stuck in the middle of the sea.

The ship is stranded at sea due to engine failure, said reliable reports in this regard.

Despite the storm in the Bay of Bengal, rescue operations are continuing on the part of the Coast Guards. The ship is 35 nautical miles from the island.

There ICG ships are patrolling the waters when the boat got stuck in Paradeep. The Samudra Kaustuv will be drawn to the Paradip port. The ship will arrive at the port this evening. There are 25 crew members in ‘Samudra Kaustuv’, said reliable reports in this regard today.

‘Hamoon’, which turned into a severe storm yesterday morning, has weakened and turned into a severe storm by evening. Now the storm is advancing, said reports.

Moving east-northeast in the Bay of Bengal. It is 330 km to the east from Paradip. Bangladesh will cross the coast tomorrow. Therefore, fishermen have been asked not to enter the sea.
