Malkangiri: The Machkund police has arrested five people belonging to the rampant ganja mafia in Malkangiri district of Odisha, said reliable reports on Monday.
It is worth mentioning that, more than one quintal of ganja has been seized along with as many as five bikes. The police has seized the ganja from Jaipur near Panput area of Malkangiri district.
The Nandpur SDPO Sanjay Mohapatra informed that five of the arrested persons are from Machkund police station area, detailed reports awaited.
While one of them is Sumit Khara from Jaipur police station said reliable reports on Monday. Detailed reports are awaited in this matter.
