Two OAS toppers married each other in a low-key ceremony here in Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha, said reports.
Bhubaneswar: Two OAS toppers married each other in a low-key ceremony here in Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha, said reports. The two Odisha Administrative Services Officers (OAS) who have tied the knot are Ananya Srushti Satpathy and Debraj Kar.
According to available reports, the two officers decided to do away with the frills and married each other in a simple low-key ceremony at the Bhubaneswar Sub-registrar office. Further reports suggest that after the marriage, the officers went to an orphanage and spent time with the inmates there.
It is worth noting that, the two OAS officers married without any pomp and show because they said that parents of girl children should save for the education of the girl and not her marriage. Due to this belief, both the officers decided to marry in a simple ceremony and set an example for such parents and bring a change in their mindset.
