Bhubaneswar: A multi-agency counter-terror mock drill was conducted at Bhubaneswar Doordarshan Kendra in Chandrasekharpur area here last night.
The drill was carried out by teams of Special Tactical Unit of the Commissionerate Police, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Special Operation Group (SOG).
The scenario of the drill was infiltration by five terrorists into the Doordarshan Kendra building and post an intimation Odisha Police’s counter-terrorism operation on them.
The cops had been given a task of dealing with terrorists armed with sophisticated firearms during the operation.
Notably, a few days back a similar operation had been held in Rangamatia area of the city for two days.
