Bhadrak: In a tragic incident, a man killed his wife over marital dispute in Bhadrak district of Odisha. The incident took place during the night hours on Monday in Guji Darada village of Bhadrak, confirmed reliable reports in this regard.
The husband and wife have been identified as Shaikh Mojal and Ranu Bibi. Allegedly, there was a long-standing quarrel between both of them. Th matter was even taken to the nearby police station.
Reportedly, the family feud escalated on Monday night when Mojal attacked his wife with sharp objects and fled from the spot. Other family members reportedly rushed Ranu to a nearby hospital in critical state. She was declared dead upon arrival by the doctors.
The deceased Ranu Bibi is survived by three young daughters.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officials from the nearby police station arrived at the spot and are currently investigating into the matter. They have initiated a search operation for the accused man Shaikh Mojal who killed his wife in Bhadrak.
