According to available reports, a man was crushed under the earthen wall as it collapsed. While sleeping at night, due to heavy rains, the mud wall was washed away.
The incident has been reported from Sundargarh district under Ladgaon Police Station limits in Jarangloi village. The deceased has been identified as Kurunath.
It is worth mentioning that, Sundargarh district is experiencing heavy rains under the influence of low pressure. The earthen wall was wet and collapsed late at night under which Kurunath was crushed and died.
When he was rescued from the wall collapse in Sundargarh and brought to Ladgaon hospital, the doctor declared him brought dead. When Kurunath died, it was reported that one minor had a narrow escape.
