In a tragic incident, a man reportedly beat his house owner to death for protesting his fight with wife at Sabara Sahi of Baunsapal village under Kamakhyanagar Police station limits of Dhenkanal district.
Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, a man reportedly beat his house owner to death for protesting his fight with wife at Sabara Sahi of Baunsapal village under Kamakhyanagar Police station limits of Dhenkanal district.
One Nira Bhutia of the village was reportedly beating up his wife for some unknown reason yesterday in the afternoon. Feeling pity for the lady, Nira’s house owner Rohit Pradhan came to her rescue.
Irked over Rohit’s intervention in the fight, Nira had a heated argument with him. Following which, Rohit asked Nira to vacate the house. However, the latter got angered and thrashed the former mercilessly.
Rohit was admitted at the hospital in a critical condition. However, breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
Kamakhyanagar Police has launched a probe into the matter.
