Kantabanji: There has been a gruesome murder of youth in Kantabanji of Balangir district of Odisha, said reliable reports.
Reports say that a youth was brutally murdered by miscreants by breaking into his house. The murder took place in Kantabanji Sindhekela police station.
The deceased has been identified as Rufad Thapa. Yesterday at around 10:00 pm, as many as five miscreants broke into Rufad’s house and brutally killed him and left.
The Sindhekela police recovered the body after receiving the information. One person has been detained in the police station and an investigation in this regard is underway. Who killed and why the reason still remains unclear.
