In a shocking incident, a girl student was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint in Jaleswar of Balasore district in Odisha on Friday.
Jaleswar: In a shocking incident, a girl student was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint in Jaleswar of Balasore district in Odisha on Friday.
According to reports, the kidnap attempt has allegedly been foiled by the Kamarda police. The kidnapping attempt incident had allegedly taken place in the Peer padia area said reports.
It is further worth mentioning that while the kidnapping was attempted, the locals pounced upon the kidnapper and detained him.
Locals also seized a gun and two live bullets from the miscreant. They then immediately handed over the youth to the police. They also gave the gun and the bullets to the Kamarda police.
According to police sources from preliminary investigation it has been found that, the youth was attempting to kidnap the girl as a result of a one-side love affair.
