Ganjam Kidnap case: Investigation reveals two brothers being taken into custody by Karnataka Police

Ganjam: The two brothers, who were earlier said to be abducted in Odisha’s Ganjam district were actually taken into custody by Karnataka police. The Ganjam Police successfully rescued two brothers who were taken into custody by the Karnataka Police. The siblings, identified as Krishna Sahoo and Panchu Sahoo, found themselves embroiled in a complex legal situation, which led to their safe by the the Ganjam Police.

During investigation, it was revealed that a case had been registered against the brothers in Bengaluru related to NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances). The case, registered at Whitefield Police Station, added a new dimension to the situation, prompting the Karnataka Police to take custody of Krishna and Panchu for further investigation.

The Karnataka Police apprehended the two brothers in connection with the NDPS case. Following the necessary procedures, the Karnataka Police subsequently informed the Ganjam Police in writing, requesting them to take charge of the brothers and transport them to Whitefield Police Station in Bengaluru for further investigation into the NDPS case.
