Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, fire in OMFED factory in Bhubaneswar said reports in this regard on Wednesday. The factory is situated in Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar the capital city of Odisha.

It is worth mentioning that the whole area was filled with smoke and the locals were scared. However the reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained. According to the Fire Services Director Abani Kanta Swain, there has been no loss of any human life in the incident of fire in Omfed.

A major fire in Bhubaneswar has been reported from a seafood factory on early morning hours of Sunday, said reliable reports.

The locals spotted the fire and immediately called the fire department. It is worth mentioning thet the fire personnel reached the spot and rescued as many as six people from the factory fire in Bhubaneswar.

According to reliable reports, as many as five air conditioners (ACs), two beds and important office documents have been reduced to ashes. The fire had allegedly spread from the ground floor to the first and the second floor.

Preliminary investigation regarding the fire in Bhubaneswar seafood factory revealed that the fire has occured due to an AC short circuit.

As many as two units of Fire Service Personnel had been deployed to douse the flames. According to latest reports after a long toil, the fire has been extinguished completely.
