Except Nuapada temperature drops below 40 Degree C across Odisha

Today Nuapada recorded 40.0 degree C

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has got relief from scorching heat as the mercury level dropped below 40 degree celcius from yesterday. Today, only Nuapada recorded 40.0 degree C while all other towns and cities experienced a below 40 degree C temperature in the State.

As per the latest report released by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar Boudh recorded 39.5, Sonepur 39.1, Sambalpur 39.0, Jharsuguda and Kendrapapra 38.8, Bolangir 38.5, Angul 38.1, Hirakud 38.0 and Chandbali in Bhadrak district 37.8 Degree C.

Today Bhubaneswar recorded 37.8 Degree Celcius while Cuttack recorded 36.0 Degree C.

Meanwhile IMD issued an ‘orange warning’ for thunderstorm with lightning and hailstorm in parts of Odisha. Accordingly, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Boudh, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada tomorrow.

Hailstorm is also likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Dhenkanal, Boudh, Cuttack, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput.
