New Delhi: Apart from 9 new Ministers who were confirmed yesterday to be sworn in in the Union Cabinet Reshuffle this morning, 4 existing Ministers will be elevated to Cabinet rank. They include MoS (Ind) P&NG, Dharmendra Pradhan & MoS (Ind) Power, Coal & Renewable Energy, Piyush Goyal.
Along with Dharmendra and Piyush, MoS (Ind) Commerce & Industry, Nirmala Sitharaman and MoS (Ind) Minority Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi will also get the elevation.
Dharmendra Pradhan, who delivered as the P&NG Minister, has been rewarded for his hard work. His elevation also holds significance in Odisha politics, as he is seen as BJP’s CM face in 2019 Assembly polls.
