Dense fog engulfs Odisha; Temperature to drop 2-3 degrees in next 2 days

Dense fog engulfed Odisha today. Meanwhile. the cold wave will return to state as the temperature will drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days.

Bhubaneswar: Dense fog has prevailed all over Odisha as the cold wave is subsiding in the state. Dense fog was witnessed over Bhubaneswar, Cuttack along with some other places of the state on Thursday. The dense fog has disrupted vehicular movements as the visibility has dropped to a very low in the morning hours.

The regional Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning for dense fog for Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nayagarh, Rayagada and Koraput districts along with the Northern and coastal Odisha areas.

Meanwhile, the Indian Metrological Department has predicted that the intense cold wave will return to Odisha in the coming days. As per IMD, the minimum temperature will drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the next two days in the state.
