Athagarh: The decomposed carcass of an elephant has been found from the forest in Athagarh block of Cuttack district in Odisha.

The decomposed carcass of elephant found in Athagarh has been recovered from the cashew forest near Genapada Beat area in Sadupa road in Athagarh Forest Division.

It is suspected that the tusker died 2 to 3 days ago said reports. The forest department estimates that the dead elephant was only 5-years-old, said reliable reports.
