Puri: Darshan in the Jagannath Temple has become even easier from today. The long barricades from the market square to the shrine have been removed to improve access to the temple.
Authorities informed that, “Barricades will be removed from Marichkot Chowk to Singhadwar from today.”
Earlier, the district and temple administrations had barricaded the road from Singhadwar to Market Square, a distance of almost one kilometer.
The temple was closed for one day (Sunday) for sanitation inside and outside the temple. But from today darshan has been reopened.
