Cuttack: Orissa HC seeks status quo report on Dhalasamanta brothers’ case

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has sought a status report on the much talked about case of Dhalasamanta brothers of Cuttack.

The notorious criminals have a number of cases pending against them all over the state.

It is noteworthy that the lower courts have refused to grant bail to them on various occasions. Hence, they had appealed to the High Court.

During the hearing of the brothers Sushil and Sumanta Dhaasamanta the Public Prosecutor informed the Orissa High Court that they have as many as 38 matters pending against them and should not be granted bail.

The High Court bench has now sought a detailed status report on the pending cases against them on priority basis.
