Curfew imposed in Sambalpur, call this helpline number for emergency
"However, in emergency for procurement of any essential items may be made during the hours of 8.00 AM to 10.00 AM and 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM," said an official release.
Sambalpur: Sambalpur district administration imposed curfew in Sambalpur city late last night following violence and arson in the region. The curfew was imposed with immediate effect until further orders.
The state of Curfew U/S- 144(1) CrPc has been declared in the jurisdictional area of Town P.S., Dhanupali P.S., Khetrajpur P.S., Ainthapali P.S., Bareipali P.S. and Sadar P.S. of Sambalpur with immediate effect.
“However, in emergency for procurement of any essential items may be made during the hours of 8.00 AM to 10.00 AM and 3.30 PM to 5.30 PM,” said an official release.
“Further for any medical emergencies a helpline is hereby declared. Citizens may reach out the District Headquarters Hospital helpline No.7655800760,” the release added.
