Covid 19: No public darshan this year at Bhubaneswar Ram Mandir during Ram Navami

Bhubaneswar: No public will be allowed at the famous Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar during the famous Ram Navami and Pana Sankranti tomorrow due to restrictions enforced by the Government in the wake of Covid pandemic in the State – a letter by the Executive Officer, Shree Ram Mandir Seva Samiti, Bhubaneswar said.

This year Ram Navami will be celebrated as a low key affair and without participation of public on April 21, 2021.

As per reports, abiding the Government order No. 1623 of March 25, 2021, where religious gatherings have been restricted, devotees will not be allowed to enter into the temple on Ram Navami day.

Accordingly, the temple committee has requested devotees to cooperate with the temple administration in this matter.

It is to be noted that Ram Navami and Pana Sankranti are big Hindu festivals. Every year these festivals are celebrated at Bhubaneswar Shree Ram temple with participation of hunderds of devotees.
