Covid-19 claims 68 more deaths in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: A total of 68 COVID patients, who were under treatment in different COVID hospitals, died due to the deadly coronavirus, informed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Thursday.
According to the Health Department, with the latest reports of 68 deaths, the toll due to coronavirus in the State rose to 7,154.
Among the deceased persons, one each is from the districts of Nayagarh and Sundargarh; two from Ganjam; three each from Balasore, Jajpur, and Kendrapara; four from Angul; five each from Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj; six from Dhenkanal; seven from Khordha; 10 from Jagatsinghpur; and 18 from Cuttack.
Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of death audit process:
1.A 37 years old of Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
2.A 70 years old of Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
