Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police starts “pass” system in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The people have been advised to stay inside their homes.
There is strict checking in all the major squares in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
People providing emergency services shall be given this “pass”.
If a car does not have a pass then it shall not be allowed on the roads.
The “pass” distribution will start today. The police personnel are making repeated requests to people to stay home.
They have appealed to the people to adhere to the lock down.
In case people step out of homes without proper reason strict action shall be taken against them.
Police Commissioner, Sudhansu Shekhar Sarangi has appealed parents not to allow children to go outside and play.

I am staying in Pokhariput area but my cousin is staying in Palaspalli which is hardly 2 kms from my place. Once in day, can I go to to palaspalli area to have my lunch in my cousin’s house ? As suggested by your department people I should have a pass for the same. Please suggest for the same to avail pass online.

How to get a car pass?
My husband has transferred from Lucknow to Bhubaneswar. Now we are staying in a hotel. We have taken rented a flat in Khandagiri. Our packer’s and mover’s service had arrived to our rented flat. They dumped all the things to the flat. We have to arrange all the things properly to stay there. Yesterday we have tried to go to our rented flat to arrange the mess but the Police didn’t allow us to go. If we couldn’t arrange the flat we can not be able to sift there… Please try to understand our problems… Please let us know how could we get car pass?
We are working with a Govt of India Organisation ( PSU). We have to pay salary to employees and workers for March-2020. We require to go to our Office at Sahid Nagar on 26/3 to 27/3 and 30/3/20 and 31/3/2020 to prepare salary and other accounting work to disburse the salary through bank to our employees. How can I go and where to get pass.
