Cold wave in Odisha to decrease from tomorrow, rainfall likely from January 31

Odisha continues to remain under the grip of severe winter. The intensity of cold wave is likely to decrease in Odisha from tomorrow. 

Bhubaneswar:  Odisha continues to remain under the grip of severe winter. The intensity of cold wave is likely to decrease in Odisha from tomorrow.

Forecasts from the regional meteorological department suggests that the night time temperature may increase by two to three degree Celsius in several places across Odisha. Due to cold and dry winds entering into the state from North-west direction, the temperature has increased at several places for the past few days.

From today, significant change in the weather will be witnessed in the state. The impact of cold wave in Odisha will decrease from tomorrow.

On the other hand, rainfall is likely to be experienced in Odisha towards the end of the month. Light showers may occur at some areas in Odisha for three days from January 31. Balasore, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj might experience light to moderate rainfall in February 1.

Further, Balasore, Bhadrak, and Mayurbhanj might experience light showers on February 2 as well.
