CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated ‘Sankha Bhawan’ BJD’s new Building

Bhubaneswar: CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Biju Janata Dal (BJD) new office building ” Sankha Bhawan” on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritya.

Sankha Bhawan has been inaugurated and dedicated to the service of 4.5 crore Odia people. It will be the favorite building of the people of Odisha. Staring from labourers to architects, everyone has given their contribution. The construction of the building has everyone’s respect and honour, says Naveen Patnaik.

In the year 1997, a new era began in Odisha politics. BJD was born under the mantra of guidance and struggle of Biju Patnaik. Since then BJD has been serving people of Odisha as a regional party, BJD has become a social movement. The past will connect the future of Odisha. CM Naveen Patnaik has called to work together for the betterment of Odisha.

The programme was attended by Ministers, MLA’s, MP’s, senior party leaders and people who are working in the party.

The building is decorated with marvelous stone work showcasing Odisha’s rich art and culture, the new party office of BJD has been built over the same location at Unit-6 area in Bhubaneswar.

The Shankha Bhawan has a large parking space under its basement. The first floor also has a press conference hall having enough space for media persons.

In the first floor there is a large airconditioned conference hall with the capacity to hold 2000 people, an auditorium for 250 people.
