Cuttack: A cement laden truck got stuck in Chauliaganj area in Cuttack city of Odisha on Sunday after the road caved in. Following the incident, a traffic congestion has been witnessed at the spot.
As per reports, a heavily loaded cement laden truck was passing along the Niladri Vihar area in Chauliaganj area of Cuttack when its wheel got jammed on the road. As the driver got down and observed it was seen that the rear two wheels of the truck were stuck in the road as the road had caved in.
Following the incident, traffic congestion has been witnessed on the roads as many vehicles are seen stranded on both side of the spot.
The locals have complained that such incidents are taking place in this area due to substandard road works by JICA Company. On the other hand a few others said that the truck was overloaded which caused the mishap. However, so far no actual reason of the incident has been ascertained.
