BMC Mayor attends Gyana Rainbow English Medium School’s annual day; lauds student and staff

Bhubaneswar: Gyana Rainbow English Medium School in Bhubaneswar celebrated the annual day today. Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor Sulochana Das attended as the chief guest and extended her best wishes to the children well and encouraged them.
While addressing the gathering, the BMC Mayor said that every child can excel if given opportunity as each of them are blessed with special skills and talents. She asked the parents how to make children interested in reading without giving them mobile phones.
The Mayor also expressed her great happiness after noticing the talent and skills of the students and congratulated the teachers and staff of the school.
Achutananda Swain, the corporator of Ward No. 16, and Premananda Jena, the Corporator of Ward No. 20, attended the event as Guest of Hounours and enlightened the students through their valuable speeches.
On this occasion, the students showcased their talents thought a cultural programme. Director of the School Ajay Kumar Nayak along with Treasure Kalpana Behera thanked the staff for organizing the annual day celebration very successfully and smoothly.
