It is worth mentioning that the blocked national highway connects Sambalpur and Angul. The road according to reports has been blocked as people want the construction of a new road.
The blockade has been staged near Rairakhol (Redhakhol) said reports.
It is further worth mentioning that they want the existing road to be repaired at the earliest. The road blockade has been staged by the Redhakhol Citizens Committee.
Due to the National Highway blockade, commuters have been stuck. Serpentine queues of cars and heavy vehicles have been seen on the road due to the blockade.
