Bhubaneswar: Yet another person succumbed to the injuries due to the blast at  hospital in Bhubaneswar, said reports on Wednesday. The news of the death has been confirmed by the concerned private hospital.

In the tragic incident of the blast at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, two persons have  succumbed, said reports on Wednesday. At least four people were injured following a blast at a private medical College and Hospital in Pandra area of Bhubaneswar on December 29.

According to CEO of the hospital, Jyoti Ranjan Panda, the explosion occurred at around 6.15 pm during out-door AC gas filling due to short-circuit.

“Four persons were injured in the incident. They are undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital. A total of 25 doctors and 40 nurses were providing them treatment,” he said adding that the situation is under control and none of the patients was affected due to the blast,

However, panic gripped the patients and their attendance following the blast.
