Bhubaneswar: In yet another jot to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha, party’s spokesperson Biswajit Mohanty joined the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) here today.
Mohanty joined the conch party in the presence of BJD supremo and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other party leaders at Naveen Niwas.
Mohanty had quit the saffron party after he failed to get party ticket to contest the Assembly polls from Cuttack-Barabati constituency. The party named former minister Samir Dey as its candidate from the Assembly segment.
