Keonjhar: A pall of gloom descended among the leaders and workers of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Keonjhar district following the unfortunate and untimely death of the party’s Zilla Parishad Candidate.
The State ruling party had made Anadi Charan Singh the Zilla Parishad candidate from Zone 8 of Ghatgaon block of the district.
However, Singh felt unwell all of a sudden this morning. He was initially admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Ghatgaon and later he was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DDH) as his health condition deteriorated.
However, he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
