BJD is the B-Team of Congress: Amit Shah

Puri: BJP national President Amit Shah came down heavily on both BJD and Congress alleging a nexus between them here on Sunday.

Addressing the Adibasi Adhikar Samabesh in the Pilgrim City this afternoon, Shah said, “BJD is the B-Team of Congress. Both BJD and Congress have not done anything for the development of Odisha. Only BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can ensure Odisha’s development.”

This apart, Shah attacked the state government as well by raising the Dana Majhi, DMF and Ratna Bhandar issues that had rocked the entire state earlier.

“Your Chief Minister has not implemented Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha, he fears that it will increase Narendra Modi ji’s popularity. If you want, you can remove our names from the scheme but why are you troubling the poor people of Odisha?,” questioned Shah while taking a dig at Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik.

Amit Shah, who has the target of ‘Mission 120 plus’ in Odisha in the upcoming general election, urged the people of the state to choose a CM who can understand Odia language.

The BJP national President further claimed that BJP is the only party which respects tribals and wants their development saying it has 32 MPs from the party belong to the scheduled tribe category.
