BJD expels two leaders for anti-party activities in Mayurbhanj

The Biju Janata Dal(BJD) on Saturday expelled two of its leaders from Mayurbhanj district with immediate effect for anti-party activities.

Baripada: The Biju Janata Dal(BJD) on Saturday expelled two of its leaders from Mayurbhanj district with immediate effect for anti-party activities.

The leaders are Jalen Naik, SDC Member and Parameswar Samad, Chairman of Tiring block.

“Jalen Naik, SDC Member and Parameswar Samad, Chairman,Tiring Block, Rairangpur Assembly Constituency, Dist.- Mayurbhanj are hereby expelled from Biju Janata Dal for indulging in anti-party activities with immediate effect,” a press statement issued by the ruling party read.

They were suspended by CM and BJD president Naveen Patnaik, it added.
