BDA Amin Sarbeswar Mohanty apprehended by Vigilance on bribery charges
Sarbeswar Mohanty, the Amin of BDA (Bhubaneswar Development Authority) has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe today.
Bhubaneswar: Sarbeswar Mohanty, the Amin of BDA (Bhubaneswar Development Authority) has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe today.
Sarbeswar Mohanty was arrested while taking Rs 20,000 from a Complainant for furnishing a favorable report to facilitate the sale of his house which was approved by BDA.
The entire bribe money has been recovered from accused Mohanty and seized. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Mohanty from DA angle.
In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case no 34/2023 U/s-7PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered. Investigation is in progress against accused Amin.
