One man died while two were critically injured after three thieves were brutally beaten by locals in Odisha’s Bargarh district.
Bargarh: One man died while two were critically injured after three persons suspected to be thieves were brutally beaten by locals in Odisha’s Bargarh district. The incident has come to the fore from Saharatikra village of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Bijaya Bag. The identities of the injured are yet to be ascertained. The three thieves are said to be resident of Pandaripatha village of the district.
According to sources, the villages of Saharatikra village caught the three thieves red-handed while stealing and brutally beat them. In the incident, one thief succumbed to injuries, while two others were critically injured. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment presently.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the matter.
