2 dead, 1 critically injured in road accident in Deogarh
At least two persons were killed while another was critically injured in road accident in Odisha’s Deogarh district on Thursday.
Deogarh: At least two persons were killed while another was critically injured in road accident in Odisha’s Deogarh district on Thursday.
The road mishap reportedly took place after two bikes collided head-on on National Highway-23 near Mardanga village of the district.
Some locals carried out the rescue operation and sent the bodies to the hospital for postmortem. They also wheeled the injured person to the health centre for treatment.
A team of cops from the Barkote Police station reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. They have seized the bikes.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased have been informed about the accident.
