A huge rock python measuring around 18-feet-long was rescued by the snake helpline members in Odisha’s Dhenkal district.

Dhenkal: A huge rock python measuring around 18-feet-long was rescued by the snake helpline members in Odisha’s Dhenkal district.

According to reports, one Nari Behera of Achhanda village under the Dhenkal Sadar Range has set up a poultry farm near the village. However, he was shocked to find a huge snake inside the farm when he went there work yesterday.

Soon, Behera informed the members of the snake helpline members. Later, a team of the snake rescuers namely Suryakant Behera and Sankar Nayak along with others reached the spot and rescued the snake. While measuring, they came to known that it was of 18-feet-long python, which they released in Kapilash Forest.

A huge crowd had gathered to witness the python. Most of them were surprised to see such a huge snake for the first time in their life. Many of them were even seen eagerly taking photos and videos of the snake.
