According to reports, mishaps in Bhubaneswar on Diwali have been reported from 17 places. The fire incidents have occurred in houses, garbage dumps and in huts across the city, said reports.
Yesterday, the capital city of Bhubaneswar has reported a number such fire-related mishaps. The fire department official Abanikanta Swain has said that, “major accidents were averted as the fire department personnel reached the spots in time and managed to extinguish the fire.
Further it has been reported that an electric two-wheeler went up in flames when it was being charged in Chandrashekharpur area of Bhubaneswar. In this incident, along with the EV four bikes were reduced to ashes completely.
The Chandrashekharpur area fire department reached the spot and managed to extinguish the flames before any further damage was caused. Detailed reports in this matter awaited.
