Bhubaneswar: A teacher was recently seen in a video molesting a girl student at a College in Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, later he was arrested by Mirzapur Police.
Sachin Gupta shared the said video on Twitter and wrote in the caption in Hindi as follows: This video of Mirzapur ITI College, UP is of March 14. In the video, this teacher has hugged a girl student from the backside.
In the said Twitter video we can see that the teacher is hugging the girl from backside on the pretext of snatching away colours from her. And another woman (reported as another teacher), who probably is recording the video can be heard saying, “Bas Kijiye Sir” (That is enough). The victim girl who is sitting on a chair is also heard saying ‘Bas kijiye sir’ (that is enough).
The video has gone viral and so far it has earned 75.8k views apart from 298 retweets, 557 likes and 18 quotes.
However, later Sachin Gupta also put an update where he mentioned that teacher Bijay Singh of Mirzapur ITI College, who was molesting a girl student in the name of confiscating colour, was arrested.
Reacting to the Twitter post Mirzapur Police wrote in the comment section that, “Taking quick cognizance in this connection a team has been formed to arrest the culprit and legal action is being taken.”
Another Twitter user also commented (in Hindi) that he should have asked the lady teacher to confiscate the colour from the girl student, but he took benefit of the situation.
