Student brutally assaulted and humiliated in Meerut; Shocking video goes viral

Meerut: A student of class 12th faced brutal assault and humiliation at the hands of miscreants in Meerut of Uttar Pradesh. The shocking incident, which took place on November 13, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.

The victim, who was on his way to his aunt’s house to deliver Diwali sweets, was kidnapped by a group of boys who took him to a nearby forest. The assailants mercilessly beat the youth inside the jungle, and to add to the brutality, one of them was captured on video urinating on the victim. The attackers not only filmed the horrific act but also circulated the video on social media.

The police have taken action following the circulation of the video, registering a case against approximately four individuals involved in the assault, urination, and filming. The miscreants further blackmailed the victim, threatening to make the video even more public unless they were paid hush money.

The victim’s father, who reported the incident to the police on November 16, has expressed concern about the handling of the case. He alleges foul play, stating, “There’s been a foul play with my report. Sections of kidnapping were not added. These are simple sections. The accused will be bailed out immediately.”

The police, however, claim to be actively investigating the matter and have made one arrest in connection to the incident.

Earlier, a Dalit boy was brutally thrashed, forced to consume urine and soil, and even had his eyebrows shaved in Jaunpur. The police have registered an FIR in that case as well and are actively looking into the matter.
