New-Delhi: The Lok Sabha on Thursday suspended eight personnel for yesterday’s security lapse incident in the Parliament.

The security has heightened in Parliament after December 13 security breach incident in the House. Only MPs are being allowed to enter the Parliament building from Makar Dwar, and all persons entering the building are being checked thoroughly by making them remove their shoes.

Yesterday, two persons identified Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the gallery during the ongoing session of the parliament. and two others sprayed coloured gas outside the parliament. Later, all the four were arrested and interrogated.

According to the police, all the four accused were in touch through social media platforms since four years and they had made plan to enter the parliament few days ago.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered an enquiry on the parliament security breach incident.
