The Ram Lalla’s idol is adorned with an array of magnificent jewellery and attire, which has caught everyone’s eye.

Ayodhya: The Ram Lalla’s idol is adorned with an array of magnificent jewellery and attire, which has caught everyone’s eye.

According to reports, the creation of these ornaments is based on extensive research and study following the descriptions of Lord Ram’s scripturally appropriate magnificence in texts such as the Adhyatma Ramayana, Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas, and Alavandar Stotra.

Reportedly, with the research from this scriptures and directions of poet Yatindra Mishra from Ayodhya, the jewellery have been crafted by Harsahaimal Shiamlal Jewellers in Lucknow.

Meanwhile, Ram Lalla’s idol is adorned in Banarasi fabric, featuring a yellow dhoti and a red pataka/angavastram. The angavastram has been embroidered with pure gold zari and threads, featuring auspicious Vaishnav symbols, such as Shankh, Padma, Chakra, and Mayur. These angavastram has been created by Manish Tripathi, a textile designer from Delhi.

At the same time, the crown of Ram Lalla, has been crafted in North Indian tradition. The crown is made of gold and adorned with rubies, emeralds, and diamonds. In the very centre of the crown is an emblem of Surya Dev, while on the right side, pearls are intricately woven.
