Pressure cooker explodes in a house in Punjab, watch

A pressure cooker exploded in a house in Punjab reportedly on Tuesday. The family members were busy with their respective chores while two women were working in the kitchen when the pressure cooker exploded. Thankfully no one was hurt and it was a lucky escape for the family members.

The footage of the incident was caged in a CCTV which has gone viral after it was uploaded to social media platform.

Gagandeep Singh shared the video to X platform (formerly Twitter) on December 13 and so far it has garnered more than 61k views. The caption of the video reads, “CCTV visuals captured a cooker blast in the kitchen while preparing ‘Saag.’ Luckily, no one got injured and everyone was saved.”

As we can see in the video five persons of a family including a child were present around the kitchen when the pressure cooker exploded. Two women, who were working in the kitchen were very close to the cooker. However, they were also luckily escaped. As a result of the explosion the lead of the cooker was pushed to the roof and a portion of the roof falls in between the two woman. A child was also seen playing ball around, however fortunately when the cooker exploded, he was behind the door. As the incident happens, more people were seen running to the scene while thick smoke spread in the kitchen.

As per the caption of the video the family was preparing ‘saag’ in the pressure cooker. Reportedly, the incident took place in the Patiala area of Punjab.
