Ujjain: According to a viral video, an irresponsible senior doctor was seen kissing a nurse in the OT at district hospital here in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
Dr Raj Nadariya is a civil surgeon at Ujjain District Hospital.
On the fateful day, Dr Nidariya was in OT and he was recorded while kissing a nurse. While the reason behind this action is unknown yet but his foolhardy action was loathed by one and all.
Once the video went viral and reached the masses, the locals were infuriated over carelessness of the senior doctor.
The 49-year old civil surgeon was suspended by the Collector.
Ujjain district collector Shashank Mishra told PTI, “I have removed him from the post of a civil surgeon of the district hospital. I have also issued a notice seeking an explanation from the senior doctor”.
The Ujjain district hospital is yet to take any action on the doctor as currently, he is on a few days of leave.
The collector informed that he has been on leaves for a few days while the authorities are waiting for his reply. A departmental inquiry committee has been set which will investigate the matter in detail.
