Migrant workers ransack vehicles in Gujarat following cancellation of ‘Shramik Special’ trains

Rajkot: A group of stranded migrant workers resorted to violence and went on ransacking several vehicles in Shapar industrial area in Rajkot of Gujarat on Sunday.

The irate migrant workers reportedly ransacked the vehicles following cancellation of two ‘Shramik Special’ trains in which they were to return to their native places.

The trains were slated to go to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

While speaking about the incident, Rajkot SP (Rural) Balram Meena said, “Action will be taken against those involved in the incident.”
