Jammu and Kashmir: 23 people killed, several Injured as bus falls into gorge in Poonch

Srinagar: At least 23 people were killed and several injured after a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Plera under Mandi tehsil of Poonch district in  Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

According to reports, the bus was going from Loran to Poonch. The bodies of all those killed in the accident have been recovered.

Rescue and search operation is underway, while the injured travellers have been rushed to a sub-district hospital in Mandi for treatment.
