The Ghol fish is one of the biggest fish in India, and it is mainly found in the marine areas near Gujarat and Maharashtra. It has a golden-brown colour. The Ghol fish is much liked by people because of its meat and bladder. The bladder is widely used in medicines, and the fish is also used to make beer and wine.

The fish can grow to about one-and-a-half metres long. The longer the fish, the more expensive it can be. Reportedly, the price of one unit length of Ghol fish can go up to Rs 5 lakh.
