Earthquake magnitude of 4.3 hits Andaman Sea
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred in the Andaman Sea, as reported by the National Center for Seismology.
Andaman & Nicobar: Early in the morning on October 8, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred in the Andaman Sea, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The tremors were felt at 03:20 AM on October 8, and the NCS noted that the earthquake took place at a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the EarAth’s surface.
The official statement from the NCS reads, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.3, Occurred on 08-10-2023, 03:20:02 IST, Latitude: 10.83 & Longitude: 93.23, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Andaman Sea, India.”
