Delhi On High Alert For Possible Terror Attack, See Details

New Delhi: A security alert has been sounded in New Delhi after Uttar Pradesh police received inputs of possible terror attacks.

According to reports, Delhi Police Special cell officer told ANI that an anonymous email, possibly sent by a terrorist organization Tehrik-e-Taliban (India cell) was received.

This was allegedly sent to a number of people who informed Uttar Pradesh police, the Police in turn alerted the Delhi Police.

UP police forwarded the details about the attack and based on the information conducted searches in a few busy areas of Delhi including Sorojini Nagar Market.

Due to some security threat. Delhi police have received orders to get the markets closed and observe strict vigil said the president of Sarojini Nagar Mini Market Traders Association, Ashok Randhawa to ANI.

Reports suggested that, Delhi police is trying to track the email and verifying the claim he/she has made in the email.
